Guitar Hero-serien har allerede skrapt inn millioner av kroner for Activision og Neversoft. Dette betyr likevel ikke at utviklerne ligger på latsiden. Allerede før jul er neste utgave i den populære serien, Guitar Hero 5, klar. Gjennom sine kontakter har Joystiq klart å samle sammen en rekke detaljer om spillet, som riktignokk ikke har blitt bekreftet enda fra offisielle hold.
Nytt av året er at du kan spille som Kurt Cobain fra Nirvana, Matt Bellamy fra Muse, Shirley Manson fra Garbage og selveste Johnny Cash. Du får selvfølgelig også låter fra alle de nevnte artistene.
I tillegg til Nirvanas ”Smells Lie Teen Spirits” og ”Ring of Fire av Johnny Cash, kan vi blant annet glede oss til klassikere som ”Jailbrake” av Thin Lizzy, ”Make It With Chu” av Queens of the Stone Age, ”Sympathy for the Devil” av Rolling Stones og ”Song 2” av Blur. Med andre ord er det masse å glede seg til.
