Slutten av året nærmer seg med stormskritt, og med det er det duket for en ny utgave av The Game Awards. Haugevis av priser skal deles ut for spillåret som har vært, og i forkant av festlighetene avslørte Geoff Keighley hvilke spill som er nominert i de ulike kategoriene.
Årets store forhåndsvinnere er Astro Bot og Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Begge spillene plukket opp nominasjoner i syv kategorier, inkludert årets spill.
Utdelingens gjeveste pris står mellom seks spill. Ved siden av Astro Bot og Final Fantasy, er Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree og Metaphor: ReFantazio nominert.
Sistnevnte har også hatt en god nominasjonsfase, med mulighet til å vinne i seks kategorier. Kortspillet Balatro sanket fem nominasjoner, og det samme gjorde nyversjonen av Silent Hill 2.
The Game Awards 2024 avholdes natt til fredag 13. desember. Sendingen begynner 01:30, og du kan følge med via blant annet YouTube og Twitch.
